When indie developer Grin filed for bankruptcy in August this year, it didn’t just mean the end of its episodic gothic fairy tale Woolfe: The Red Hood Diaries. It also meant a horde of disappointed Kickstarter backers went without the rewards they had paid up for.

Thankfully, British developer Rebellion has stepped in. Not only has the studio, best known for the likes of Sniper Elite and Zombie Army Trilogy, bought the rights to the IP, it has said it will honour outstanding Kickstarter rewards. Apparently, some fairy tales do have happy endings.
