Since KeyDisk Company’s success in creating the innovative key holder, a new and improved version has been designed, and the company is seeking funds through Kickstarter.

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.—Almost a year after KeyDisk’s extremely successful Kickstarter campaign, the company has redesigned its flagship product and launched a new crowdfunding campaign. Still offering the world the thinnest key holder, KeyDisk 2 comes with numerous improvements. To make the innovative product available, a new Kickstarter has been launched with a goal of $9,500, and it has over a month left to meet its aim. So far, the company has met half its goal.

The superior features of the original KeyDisk are still intact, including its sleek and lightweight build. The new design continues with the modern finish of sandblasted or anodized aluminum. Also, KeyDisk 2 still fits in any pocket due to its slim design. The new design incorporates pass-through screws, allowing it to accommodate more keys, up to nine. The second edition has a hollowed-out design, which makes it more ergonomic and makes finding and drawing out a key easier. With two different screw shapes, the key holder is much simpler for users to assemble. Each KeyDisk 2 comes with an attachment for carrying car keys.

With the money raised from the campaign, KeyDisk Co. will be able to manufacture KeyDisk 2, make packaging, and work through logistics. Backers of the Kickstarter can receive a gunmetal gray or onyx black KeyDisk 2 for a pledge of just $19, which is a $10 savings from retail.
